Samaya / The feature index

From the first click
to “see you then.”

Services, availability, requests, customers, and team access. Here is what Samaya does today.

01 / Customer booking

A welcoming first step.

Customers browse public services and times before signing in to request a visit.

Your business, clearly presented

Show your business name, public contact information, services, and appointment mode on a mobile-friendly booking page.

In store or online

Offer in-person appointments or online services with a configured Zoom connection or supported Zoom link.

Invitation-only options

Restrict selected services to eligible invited customers. The server checks eligibility when they request a visit.

02 / Availability

A schedule with boundaries.

Samaya calculates available times from your business’s working hours, service duration, blocked time, and active bookings.

Actual Samaya interface / demonstration data

One shared calendar. Fewer crossed wires.

Both pending and confirmed visits occupy time. The backend rechecks availability inside the booking transaction, and conflicting requests are rejected.

Times use the business’s timezone, including daylight-saving changes. Samaya currently uses a shared business calendar, not independent parallel staff calendars.

03 / Business workspace

Give the team a shared picture.

Review and manage visits

See pending requests, confirm or decline, and track visit status from the business workspace.

Keep customer context

Review business-scoped customer profiles, visit history, and connected social enquiries.

Give the right access

Owners manage services, team membership, business profile, and connections. Staff manage everyday visits and customer work.

04 / Communications

Keep the next step clear.

Booking notices and reminder options support the visit, without turning your appointment data into a marketing campaign.

Email from your business

Connect a Google mailbox for transactional booking email. The connection requests send access, not permission to read your inbox.

Optional booking texts

SMS depends on customer consent, a business sender, and verified US carrier registration. Owner alert options have their own setup.

Reminders you choose

Enable day-before and two-hour customer reminders. Delivery depends on connected channels and provider availability.

Questions / Answers

Something specific? Write to us

Are appointments confirmed automatically?

No. New bookings start as pending requests. The business reviews and confirms or declines them. Both pending and confirmed visits reserve time in the shared business schedule.

Can I start using Samaya right away?

Samaya currently uses assisted onboarding for its US pilot. Contact info@technoic.com to discuss fit, pricing, and setup. A Technoic administrator provisions the business; there is no public self-service business signup.

Can customers book without signing in?

Customers can browse public services and availability without signing in. They must sign in before submitting a booking request. Some services can also require an invitation.

Does Samaya have separate calendars for every employee?

Samaya currently uses one shared booking calendar per business. A visit can reference a staff member, but availability is not a separate concurrent calendar for each employee.
